Dear Ceara,
A thin header would look like the ne on Aspire (manyrandommusings.blogspot.com), and a thick one would look like My Designer Girl (mydesignergirl.com).
Also, a scrapbooking kit is a kit of digital papers and scrapbooking elements that I will use to design your blog. If you want you can go without. :)
Does that answer your questions?
Also, if you wouldn't mind giving me you email, in order to make communication easier, and so that you can view a preview of your look before installation. If this is not possible, I can set up a test blog for you to view with your design on it, but it would be a little easier through email. :)
